This is a full-time, in-office role based in Central London.
The Role
The CFO will join at a critical inflection point, supporting continued rapid growth and international scaling. This is a hands-on, commercially focused leadership role, partnering closely with the CEO, Board, and investors to shape financial strategy, support decision-making, and ensure a robust foundation for global expansion.
The role spans strategic finance, capital planning, regulatory oversight, and investor engagement, with a strong emphasis on building scalable financial infrastructure in a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own financial strategy, long-term planning, and overall financial performance
- Act as a key partner to the CEO and Board, delivering clear, insight-led reporting and analysis
- Oversee finance across regulated entities, including capital adequacy and regulatory submissions
- Lead group finance functions including accounting, audit, tax, and intercompany structures across multiple jurisdictions
- Ensure robust revenue recognition across diverse revenue streams
- Partner with commercial and product teams to evaluate new initiatives and business models
- Lead fundraising activity, including financial modelling, investor materials, and due diligence processes
- Develop and scale a high-performing finance function across FP&A, accounting, and regulatory finance
- Drive automation, systems, and process scalability to support rapid growth
- Maintain strong financial discipline across cash management and liquidity
Requirements:
- Senior finance leadership experience (CFO / Finance Director) in a high-growth environment
- Proven experience supporting or leading venture fundraising (Series A–B or beyond)
- Strong background in regulated financial services
- Experience operating in complex, multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional structures
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution and financial modelling
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
